Thanks for the info. I have been pinching all suckers but
the remaining leaf branches are very long and make the plant
very wide. I was wondering if I could prune those branches
somewhat to keep them manageable without harming the plant.

I referred to Mel's SFG book and read the section again on
tomatoes, but he doesn't address pruning leaf branches.
