I started my tomatoes and peppers indoors on April 11th, and didn't get
to plant outdoors until May 18th (there was a delay in getting the Walls
o' Water that I had ordered). The tomatoes are only about a foot tall, if
that, but they are looking happy.
It's amazing to me to hear of people in other zones with 3 or 5-foot tall
tomatoes already. I estimate that we are in Zone 5a at an altitude of
over 6,000 feet, and it still gets quite cold some nights, approaching
frost temperatures.
