Hi Dore,
I tried last spring (1998) to grow Territorial's shallots from seed.
Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful, but I am sure it was not T.S.'s
fault. All of their other seeds germinated and grew for me. I planted
them in a bad spot, and they didn't get enough water after they
germinated. I will try them again, this coming spring, as I stored
them in an airtight container in the fridge, so they should still be
good, just like all my other seeds. This time I am going to try them
in pots and transplant them when the shoots get big enough to
withstand the cutworms.
Good luck,
Shawn
