Hi, Valerie, I'm wanting to do the same thing. Some of my neighbors are
getting ready to replace their double-paned windows. They said I could have
a couple of them. Unfortunately, now it look like they're going to have to
wait until spring or later. Bummer! I would love to have fresh greens,
especially, instead of those slimy things you get in the grocery store.
I even went ahead and ordered a heat-activated device to lift the window
(lid) when it gets too warm. No power source necessary, as it is a
gas-charged cylinder, adjustable:
