It's cranked up--we're all just cooking like mad dogs here in the US 
because tomorrow is Thankgsiving, our one sanctioned pig-out holiday of the 
year.

I received the Seed Savers Exchange fall magazine issue today.  There's an 
interesting article about a new book on 100 heirloom tomato varieties, by 
the famous Carolyn Male (seed collector extraordinaire).  The book is due 
out shortly, and if there are interested parties on the Square Foot List, 
I'll post the details later.
