I can't seem to find an answer for this question in the FAQ or book. We recently purchased a home that didn't have a softener loop. The only affordable way to get treated water was to treat the whole house and install a reverse (R/O) for drinking & cooking water. We were able to have them bypass any impact to the drip landscaping system, since it comes directly off the main feed to the house. However the outside water faucet in the backyard now provides only softened water. I've been told to use the R/O water for indoor plants, but don't know if there's a problem with garden vegetables. Thanks for your feedback, Carol *************************************************************************** To unsubscribe, send to: listserv@umslvma.umsl.edu the body message: unsubscribe sqft See http://www.umsl.edu/~silvest/garden/sqft.html for archive, FAQ and more.
