Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Lorrie,
I think the refuse pile is your problem. I once had a mouse problem in a
garden, but they left when I moved the timber away they were using. I too
have a rabbit and squirrel problem It's not that I mind sharing, they just
don't seem to understand that concept (LOL). I have heard of people
planting root crops and bulbs in wire baskets to trick the moles and voles.
I have a book to suggest that might help you get started: Super Nutrition
Gardening by Dr. William S. Peavy (ISBN:0895295326) $14.95. It combines
organic and square foot gardening techniques to increase the vitamin and
nutrient content of vegetables. It contains some excellent tables about how
much and when to plant. If you can't get hold of it, I'd be willing to
figure it for you.
