I wonder if you were to add vermiculite to the soil. I think
that would help hold moisture in. Does the book recommend this? I am
beginning to use this, but I don't measure it, just add it when I plant.
The soil we have in Florida is so dry that we have to keep it moist
continually, unless it rains. Last year when it didn't rain all summer,
I lost a catnip plant that could have continued to grow.
