Do you mean those little cobs of corn? Pick them as or just before the silks
show, less mess that way. Adjust for your preferences from there.
The variety you planted probably lists multiple cobs as the feature which makes
them good for a harvest of mini-cobs. I take little cobs from my regular corn
stalks, I sacrifice some production for the outrageous taste treat. Eat some
right off the stalk right in the garden. The fresh crunch is better than the
canned cobs you've tasted like home grown tomatoes are better than store bought.
