I also wondered why it has been so quiet. I am pulling out all the mostly
dead stuff out of my beds and going to plant peas, potatoes and garlic and
onions and then use the rest of the beds as holding areas for the perineals
I am starting for spring. My compost turned out ok in spite of the roaches-
bagged everything up and left it in the sun for a few days and they
disappeared when I spread it on the yard. Getting better at building
teepees- just built one for roses and one for a solanum. -think I wil ltry a
couple in the bveggie garden next year outside of the beds for someplants I
didn't have room for this year. My successes this year were-patty pan
squash, armenian and lemon cukes, lemon boyttoms and beafsteaks, and purple
green beans. Will plant more of the things I like and less of a variety next
year- have very little space and you need more than one or two plants to
make a mealful.What are you succeses and failures this year-what will you do
dofferent next year??
