Thanks for the comments concerning these two companies. I 
really like the selections in their catalogs. In our part 
of the country (zone 7 upstate SC) I need things with a 
fairly short growing season, believe it or not. We have a 
long season, but we also seem to have every pest and 
disease known to gardening as well as extreme heat and 
drought for much of the summer. So things that produce 
quickly in the spring or fall is best for us, for the 
most part.

For the question concerning the other seed companies, the  
only one I have experience with is Gurney, and I found 
the things I bought from them quite good.
