I have not used mirrors. I have used Mel Bartholomew's suggestion to place an
aluminum wrapped foam sheet next to those plants who need more sun for
whatever reason. It really worked well next to my sweet potatoes and
watermelons. But pay attention to the heat factor. I nearly torched some
plants on my first attempt at it.
