apparently milking the nectar out of my aphids. (I think that's what they For four ears of corn, take you thumb and forefinger and smash the little buzzards/aphids between them as you move your hand along the corn. It's yucky, but it kills them. Or put a teaspoon of castile soap or other soap, not detergent into a quart spray bottle full of water and spray them. It kills the ants, too. Pretty soon the ladybugs will come, but sometimes not soon enough. Good luck! probably are.) How much damage can these critters do? I've read that the ants > protect the aphids.
