I have some melons and squashes and sunflowers with powdery mildew and some tomatoes with late blight. I am wondering if it would be a bad idea (I assumed it is) to put these leaves in my compost pile. I have been afraid that if I composted them these diseases which show up next year more readily. Thoughts?
