you've dut in the material.
You may be onto something, Janet. It might be worth a try. I use plastic
"Miracle Mulch" from Parks Seeds which has many good qualities, but it
does not permit the rain to run off fast enough to avoid the puddles
whence the splashes come. So you can leave that sort of plastic out of
the experiment.
