Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
My garden has just about reached the end of it's season. I have
pepper plants, tomato plants, and marigolds. When I take these out,
should I just cut them off at ground level and leave the root in?
My peppers are still doing pretty good, but it's getting a bit cool
for them. I'll keep them in as long as possible.
Also, how does one prolong the carrot season? Can I mulch with
straw? My gardens are in raised beds, so I'm wondering if the mulch
method would work.
Thanks,
holly zone 5
