Peg -- Yes, I'm familiar with Sunset, having lived in the Emerald City
(Portland) for three glorious years. (After 14 years away, I still miss it
if I let myself.)

Oh, brother, maybe that's it! It's cooler in here in the house, but it's
certainly not 60 degrees. More like low 70s.

That's what I think I'll have to do -- just go ahead and plant them.
Thanks bunches for researching this for me! I may try to move them to the
basement (after I buy said gro-lights) where it's a few degrees cooler. I
don't think the family would let me make the whole house a cooler for the
sake of the seedlings. :-(
