Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
I just ran across the term 'bunching' wrt beets (in Stokes' catalog).
I guess i'm not sure of the meaning of 'bunching.' Stokes does say,
under onions, "There is an increasing demand each year for scallions
or bunching onion (onions sown thicker & harvested b4 they develop
bulbs)." So, then, for beets, it would be beets sown for the tops,
not for the roots? But, this doesn't seem to hold up when I read some
of their specific descriptions: "Green Top Bunching:... THis
multi-pupose strain provides round, bright red roots....Medium tops
provide good length for bunching...." I'm confused!
TIA
