The problem is not just worms. From what I have learned, there are
disease organisms that can move from pets to humans (and back), so
that using dog or cat feces could pose a risk to you and your
family. I am not a doctor, but I can say that every article I have
ever read concerning composting says that you should never add dog
or cat feces to the pile, so I have never done so.
