Square Foot Gardening List - http://www.flinet.com/~gallus/sqft.html
Tom,
I think you missed the Title - HERBICIDES ARE GOOD FOR YOU.
As to ''genetically modifying'' agristuff for centuries, although I am
sure you are not, that sounds like an apologist comment for the chemical
industry.
Genetically modifying eye of toad and wing of bat into tomatoes is
rather different from crossing strains of tomato to produce fat ones.
And such messing around with nature has only been possible in recent
times.
I have difficulty understanding allowing for the regular drenching of
crops with herbicides which will now be allowed in greater volumes into
the food chain is good for anyone - industrialised nations, the
developing world, or anyone else.
regards
Brian
