I maintain, as off-topic as this may be, that the problem isn't the GM
products - it's the legislators who raised the limits of herbicide content.
The soya was not engineered to include herbicide, it was engineered to be
resistant to it. If we said, "NO HERBICIDES IN OUR FOOD!" then they'd be
genetically modifying cotton to taste yucky to the boll weevil instead. So
yes, I agree that there's an outrage occurring here, but I disagree that the
plant is the outrage.
Follow the money, which you'll find in the pockets of legislators.
