      Dennis, you should have no problem. Many of the Junos need a cold 
winter followed by a hot dry summer baking.  The most difficult thing is 
finding healthy dormant plants at fall planting time. They have a bulb with 
enlarged fleshy storage roots. If the storage roots are broken off,and they 
are very brittle, the bulb won't bloom the following year, if it even 
survives.
