Re: Honey Scoop

Thanks for the compliment Mike.  I don't know if it reblooms for us here or not.  I just got it from you 7 months ago.  I will however keep you posted of all my irises that rebloom.

I am also a member of RIS and I understand I am to report all rebloom I have/see here in Phoenix to your dad.

I have made some crosses on HS also, which is why there is a little seed pod beginning to form in the same socket as the flower.  (I had to take the tag off before taking the photo.)  I had crossed several HS flowers with Court Martial, to see if I can get some red in it, but so far only two seed pods are forming.  One other flower I had crossed with Arizona Redhead to also try getting some red into it, and that pod is now forming.

Recently I have crossed several other irises with HS too.  The first one is on Court Martial (recip. cross), I have several on Catalyst to get a more intense yellow coloring plus Catalyst is a reported rebloomer, and just for fun I threw some HS pollen on Thornbird.

So, did Starring open up for you yet?  Any crosses so far?
