Oh goodness no Annette! Just an April Fool's spoof. It's an altered,
poor quality photo of HARVEST OF MEMORIES taken late last fall. The
original photo came out an unhealthy greenish yellow, overexposed, out
of focus mess, taken with a 'bargain' ~$80 Polaroid digital camera. So
I just changed the 'hue' using the Photoimpressions software that came
with my 'new' Hewlett Packard digital camera. Easy to shift the
greenish-yellow tint to red. The yellow streaks were too yellow to
change easily.
<Dear Linda, Is the seedling really as red as the photo shows?>
I'm afraid this fake 'seedling' of MAYTAG RED may be causing as much
confusion as the parent did! Apologies.
