[PHOTO] CULT: Resistance is futile...


Some of you have asked about the plant bed covers and water bottle heat
sinks I've mentioned.  I ran out of material to cover the beds, but this
is what it looked like.  The covers are from the local Co-op and are
primarily sold for burley tobacco seed beds.  I have all kinds - Reemay,
cheesecloth (very old), and their most recent, Continental Tobacco Plant
Bed Cover.

The other picture is a view of three plants showing the range of freeze
damage in some new things planted last year.  One dead to the ground,
one partially damaged, the third apparently unscathed.  For those of you
who have wondered what freeze damage looks like <g>
