[PHOTO] Re: got the blue blues

That is a terrible dilemma, Mike!  ;-)  Darn ugly ole' blue thing...What to do with it?? Just dig up the worthless old thing and throw the whole clump into my box when my order goes out! Ha! Ha! :-D  Seriously, I don't know what it is about the blues, but I, for one, love them. Cool, calm, stately - not enough good adjectives to describe 'em. The white beard is a bonus, too!

Bill Wells (in the Missouri Ozarks where spring is weird, but wonderful, with all the different flowering trees blooming at the same time - which never happens here - and I am fidgeting horribly because the first iris bloom of the season is only hours from opening and to make it even worse...I have two big buds on Bagdad's Folly and one on Mohr Pretender, never having seen an arilbred in real life..pant, pant)

Here is a dilemma, This is an incredible flower. Perfectly formed large
flowers, nice thin white edging on S. and F. Thick substance, beautiful
color and a very bushy wide white beard. Great garden presence. But it is
in a color class that is overloading with incredible flowers. What is there
to do with it? It does have a white beard on a blue flower, maybe that is
enough to continue on with it......
need advise
Thanks
