For some reason I only received the second image on this post, and not the
first. When I found the post at Yahoo again I went back and did some real
complaring, and it looks to me like 'Liason' is indeed a much better match
than is 'Blast'. So, I think my first suggestion can be pulled off the
table.
'Blast' is an early blooming IB, and 'Liason' is a bit later and larger.
There are some others that are similar, but (except that your photo shows a
flower with a less sharply defined and less contrasting pale margin on the
falls than is shown in most photos of 'Liason') I think 'Liason' is very
close, and likely the correct name.
