Here is a pic of what might have been the first wildly popular
variegated/color break/broken color iris.

My Canon S40 camera made it much too blue, as seen on my monitor, so I
PhotoShopped it purpler. 

Although a few blooms can be almost selfs, and a few almost plics, it
seems to be the best of the pre-Kasparek broken color iris.
