Re: Re: Vossen sdlg

Hi Harold,

So sorry to hear about your aril/arilbred losses.   I also must tell you - - that is one nice iris photo!  Nice colors round out that picture.

It was a long day and a long two weeks getting ready enough to be open to
the public. I wasn't fully ready but adequately so.

Attached is Ono Sunset. If anyone is interested Carole lives in Igo, near
Ono.

Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances and early winter weather, I lost
virtually all of my arils and arilbreds. I am in the position of starting
over. Ono Sunset and Aurora's veil were both involved in the loss. There are
other, newer arils that have more personal appeal to me so I will not be
reacquiring either.

Harold,

Please post that ONO SUNSET photo!  I'm growing both, but I think
the stalk on OS is freeze damaged and it may not make it to bloom.
Did you see the 'peacock green' posting this morning?  That is
AURORA'S VEIL's stylearm.  Have you noticed that color in it?  Is it
blooming for you now?  If yours is blooming now, please see if that
color is present.  I'm really curious about that color.

Thanks.
Donald
