Re: KOKO KNOLL

Rita - thanks so much for pointing me to the Aril website.  I probably could've found that or something along those lines if I'd bothered to do a quick search, but I was just being lazy.  :)

And, thanks for the encouraging words - my whining isn't completely heartfelt, I can't wait for the irises, but I do love this time of year - early spring has a muddy, just-waking-up charm all it's own.

Glad to hear you've got flowers!  Any pictures?
Thanks again,
Laurie

was wondering if you (or someone else out there) wouldn't mind giving me a brief review of the aril terminology - aril, arilbred, OGB, OGB+, etc...  I've seen it before, but haven't retained it.  Do you know which type is Esther?

Laurie, quickest place to pick up the terminology is the Aril Website:
http://www.arilsociety.org/

There is also an Aril Robin list that people will be happy to answer questions!

Sure was a beautiful shot of Esther-more and more aril/aril breds are hardy in northern climes!

Keep the faith-Spring will soon come to you!  First two SDBs opened today in Missouri-Jewel Baby and Little Blue Eyes (in 6 years first one on dates ranging from 4-1 to 4-19!)
