Thank you, Dana, for your encouragement.  I think I’ll keep the deep lavender.  Unless the red-purple sets some pods from the crosses I tried to make on it, it will have to go.

Here are the two survivors of the Pond Lily X Purple Pirouette cross.  I loved the red one, but it has a fatal flaw.  The deep lavender is less distinctive, but I can’t find any flaw in it.  It has been blooming beautifully for two weeks now.
