Yes, it was introduced by Col. Gus Seligmann thru Tom Tadfor-Little's garden. 
 We had quite a debate regarding his choice of names!  He registered it as a 
TB, even though it is genetically a 1/4-bred, because it doesn't have enough 
aril traits.

BTW, I have a couple of sunfast red seedlings now that have more aril traits 
and come close to the color of SM.  It's only taken 20 years....
