I doubt that I can help you much, John. It is strictly amateur hour with 
me. I'm just learning as I go. Suggestions from me? Probably not. No 
special techniques. I just take several shots of each bloom, open them 
up in Picture It!, see which I like best, crop, tweak the brightness and 
contrast a bit if necessary, add text, and that's it.
