I grow this iris. I also grow OLIVE ORCHID. This happened with Pat
last year, too, but this looks more like OO grows for me than SB. I
really hadn't realized they even looked so much alike in the details
until the photo last year. My SB does not show the shoulder pattern
either in photos or in person, but OO does. It has them, but they are
pretty much obscured on the bloom whereas it is the first thing you
notice about OO. Of the two plants here, OO is the stronger growing
plant, but SB has a more attractive bloom.
Just commenting here, not saying this isn't correctly identified.
They are similar plants in size and form and general coloration. Not
surprising since they share a parent.
