Re: PHOTO/CULT:New camera, new seedling 05L3

Thanks, Pearl  --  I suppose holding the camera vertical would be easier than holding myself horizontal, so I'll give it a try.  --  Griff

Griff I have found that I get sharper pictures with the macro setting if I focus the camera held vertical. It's a nice picture anyway.

Here's seedling 05L3 (20A10:(Blitz x Haven) x Lumalite), blooming today as first seedling of the year and first to be photographed with the new digital camera, a Sony DSC-W7.  After weighing all the generous advice I received, I opted for a relatively inexpensive camera to start with.  This is a shot taken with the macro setting.  It doesn't seem as sharp as it could be.  I'm sure I have miles to go before I'm able to elicit the camera's best performance.  I'll follow this with a shot taken with a regular setting.  --  Griff
