two year clump of 2401-AB

    This is the full clump in bloom of 2401-AB.  It was a single rhizome planted two years ago.  As a first year seedling it had seven fans to the clump......Purple has never been a personal favorite color of mine, but the stalk is great, and the beard is great, good form and it looks smashing even from across the lawn.....(Fogbound x Almost Heaven)....and I have made many crosses using it as a parent....;)
