There is a version that costs 130 Pounds and that is expensive, but i bought the smaller version that only costs 25 pounds and it's already very handy to properly name colours.

Jack,    there is no color chart specifically for Iris. There are color charts from the RHS (Royal Hort Soc.) in GB, but they are very expensive and as such not used by the casual gardener. Keith Keppel has at times used these in registrations.

Descriptions are an 'art form'... seeing is believing.

Is there a color and or pattern chart for iris identification? I'd like to be able
to take a written description and match it with likely candidates. Some descriptions
I see are quite exotic, but not really helpful.

Thanks,
