Well, here they come, opening after a pounding
rain: WITH CASTENETS (Ritchie '91), WHAT, AGAIN? (Ensminger '90), and a
nondescript little seedling that is only half as tall as its foliage. Both
WITH CASTANETS and WHAT, AGAIN? have obviously good substance. WA's
puckered fall on the right unpuckered after the second hard rain and looked just
fine. Several more should open by this time tomorrow, but more heavy rains
threaten, so pollen daubing may be a challenge. -- Griff
