These did survive the wind and we didn't have the down pour expected, just a soft rain.   Someone gave me a few of these rhizomes that they found down on the Verde river bank. So don't have a clue what they are, but wonderful fragrance, huge and foliage stays green all year. Crystal pure  white and very white beard. In fact when sun is on these, I can't get a pix w my little camera.
