From the bud photo it looks like the underside of the petal is banded in blue. Very interesting. Nice seedling.

In the meantime I looked up the heritage of Clyde Redmond and found that the pollen parent of CR was Snow Pearl, a white LA and the pod parent was blue with white style arms.
This seedling is blue with the underside of the petal being white.
