Thanks, Griff, it's very nice!  I'm using Outlook Express. What did you do to put the pictures on the email without (evidently) attaching them? No paper clip is in evidence.  Yet I can save the pictures. I guess there are several ways of putting pix into emails. In some people's emails, the photos are there without a paperclip, but I can't save them. They must be a third way of doing it.  I'm stumped...               I always use the 'Insert' menu.

Whoops!  I went out to patrol the front garden today and there was the first bloom of the year, my SDB rebloomer HELLO AGAIN (R. 2007), just opened.  Quite a pleasant surprise, since I'd been watching for some MDB seedlings which look promising, but haven't yet opened.  So, here's a photo of the event, with another from last fall.  --  Griff
