Griff asked for a close up of one of my blacks from Wearing Rubies X Epicenter a couple of weeks ago.  I find black irises the most difficult to photograph.  This one is not one of those in the original garden picture, but it is my favorite of that cross.  It is the blackest flower I have ever seen.  It has excellent vigor and nice stalks.  The little white lines about its black beard make a cute distinguishing mark.  I may register it this year.  I will certainly line out a good row of it.
