And to top it all, here are 2 seedlings from the
cross Step Ahead x Forever Blue.
Only the white one with blue beard has pollen so i
tried it on everything i could think off, we'll see if anything comes out
of it.
But as pod parents, every single flower will be
tried!
The branching and the bud count will be
tremendously improved!
Now that's it, must go and check on the new babies,
can't imagine i stayed at the computer so long, i can hear my babies crying so
loud for their father, it hurts!

my crosses are concerned:

Baby-3buds.
This one is a rebloomer and will be used on
the crosses involving Forever Blue and the ones involving Cry
Baby.
There should be some rebloom!

Experiment X Forever Blue has no sib, it was
the only one that made it, quite easy to decide who must live in that
case!
i also have many other seedlings
involving forever, and of course i have made some crosses between
them!
For the moment, i'm up to my nostrils
daubing white powder all over the place, when it gets less hectic, i
will post all the pictures on Flickr, and update what i did last
year.
i have also made crosses with Cry Baby,
that is also a very early rebloomer, hope it's a good match with Forever
Blue.

A great start. As the "Whenever" reblooming genes are recessive or
perhaps even rececessive and a double gene combination, you will
need
to cross to a "Whenever" rebloomer or a known carrier such as
"What
Again". A cross to "Summer Recall" if you have it would be
ideal. Could
do back cross to Forever Blue.
I'm assuming that
siuitable sibs are not available. If you had a number
bloom from
this cross I'd like to know what they were like.
You are much
ahead of me in bloom. SDBs won't be out here for another
three to
four weeks.
