Something that Betty Wilkerson might find interesting. These are siblings
of the 'beautiful dud' I posted last year. Now all six plants of the
(Fashion Passion x Satan's Mistress) beepod have bloomed. I really think
the pollen parent was probably Wild Vision. The vague memory of using it is
still hanging around in the fringe lunacy of my mind. All had some degree
of a rim on the falls. 3 were in the basic yellow over red of the pod
parent and three were the white over blue colors. The 'beautiful dud' was
the best form and the widest rim, but the rim was vivid on the white over
blue sibling shown here in two photos (the other white over blue is in the
background at the top and seen between the side the blooms and tree trunk).
I like the blue bars on the style arms here. The rim on the red one is
pretty strong here. All these were scheduled for tossing, but I may keep
the yel/red with the rim because I don't have anything like it growing here.
