Morning all. To: iris-photos@yahoogroups.com From: janicelauritzen@yahoo.com Date: Wed, 27 Apr 2011 09:01:36 -0700 Subject: Re: [iris-photos] Help with ID please The "calla' type was interesting. Never had one do that before. I'll send a photo of the iris later today. It is a pretty color when properly opened.
I checked Arctic Fancy but it doesn't have the right shape. Mine is very tailored. I have grown Kontiki, Rare Edition, Inty Greyshun and Agatha Christy, all IBs, but it isn't any of them. It may have to remain a mystery. The color is kinda nice, though, huh? :-)
Here's a suggestion for your noid . . . it reminds me of how 'Arctic Fancy' looks here in Michigan . . . it's an IB. El posted a photo of it on the Encyclopedia, too, but it shows much more purple stitching in it than your photo.
here's a link for it . . . http://wiki.irises.org/bin/view/Ib/IbArcticFancy?id=1&filename=IBArcticFancy.jpg#igp1
