I miss the old days when these forums were active... so for old times sake, I hunted down these photos I'd posted last year to the Iris-Hybridizers Facebook page (which I still just don't find anywhere near as useful).
I thought that maybe some of the other Iris-Talk and Iris-Photos lovers might appreciate a real post on here. ;)

This is a diploid [24 chromosome type] MTB-ish seedling that comes from an unregistered seedling of mine [which is 'Vibrant Rose' X 'Clown Pants']. I'm not sure what the pollen parent was. I'd done several crosses on that seed parent and lost the label on this particular batch. I've got just a couple of seedlings similar to this now and plan to start interbreeding them, with hopes of intensifying the _expression_ of the turquoise and bringing it out onto the standards and falls. Currently I'm only really seeing it clearly on the stylearms.
