[PHOTO] SDB: Jewel Baby


Say hello to JEWEL BABY (Earl Hall, 1984) - fragrant dark violet rebloomer.
This is the third bearded iris to bloom for me this spring.

Notice the 4-bearded flower in the background.  It has 4-falls, 3-styles,
and 2-stands.  The other flower in front is normal with 3 of everything.

I am impressed with the dark, almost black, color...and the sheen which is
clearly evident in the photo.  It smells good too.  Yummy!
