Thanks Neil for saying this so much better than I can.  We only know when some evil thing like this goes out when we get an "Invalid Address" notice to some e-mail address we never heard of with a message we never sent!!  Our e-mail address and that of the AIS Membership Secretary is on so many address books that we get frequent notices.  We have both a daily (sometimes four times a day) Virus program (PCillin) as well at AOL that we get constant alert on this kind of trash.

 

When we send attachments, the name of the file is in the subject line along with a message so everyone knows it is from us.  We even got a "nasty" last week from someone using Keith Keppel's e-mail address-which he knew nothing about!!!

 

Random and malicious stuffing of e-mail address boxes is like theft from regular mailboxes-?where did my Publisher's Clearing House million dollar check go anyway??
