ASI Plant Sale/Plant Sale Plus

To ASI members who are not members of Iris-Robin, but have purchased plants from the ASI Plant Sale:
 
    You will be receiving your Plant Sale orders this week!  Congratulations to Dolores for a job well done.
    Many of you who have ordered this year may receive rhizomes labeled "A Plant Sale Plus iris grown for you by (grower's initials)".  Plant Sale Plus was established in June 04 as an adjunct to the ASI Plant Sale.  It is a program in which rhizomes are supplied to the members of PSP by ASI from commercial sources, grown by them for one year and then donated to the Plant Sale and listed in the catalog.  PSP members may keep a rhizome of each variety they grow as a  "thank you" for participating.
    One of the aims of PSP is the correct labeling of cultivars, so if you will note the grower's initials in your records, we will be able to trace any mislabeled cultivar to the grower and to the original supplier.
    Participating members of PSP are particularly careful when labeling their rhizomes--mistakes may happen, but we strive for perfection!
