{Disarmed} Re: Re: TB: orange iris

Thanks much LInda.  I know that you are probably closest to me of most of the members here.  So that is good to know.  A little bolder color, a litte tougher stalk, and we are on our way. It definitely has qualities to work with. I love the beard on it. Appreciate your time and info.  I'll search out a seller for this one.  Have a great day
Linda

Have you tried Hugh Thurman's CARNIVAL SUNSET?

As you can see from the photo, it has a bit of a problem with stalks
falling over, but it has been reasonably healthy here.

<Second, I am in search of a good solid growth orange iris. I love the
color of TN Vol, which bloomed lovely this year, but the foliage and
growth rate of the plant habit is extremely puny. I
have it growing in 2 different places where
other iris are thriving and it just seems to be slow and small. I have
Voltage, which is a little better in growth, but the color is a little
to gold for what
I am looking for. Any suggestions? Thanks
for any help that you have.
